The Russian Armed Forces fired missiles at a solar power plant in the Kharkov region. As a result of two missile strikes, the station is not working.

In the city of Merefa in the Kharkiv region, a missile strike destroyed an electrical substation with solar panels. It is reported by "Suspіlne".

“There were two arrivals of Iskander missiles from Belgorod. Completely peaceful facility, no military infrastructure.” said the head of the power plant Volodymyr Ronchakovsky.

“Peaceful solar power plant. This is a deliberate destruction of the infrastructure and population of Ukraine,” said the head of the power plant Volodymyr Ronchakovsky.

Ronchakovsky added that as a result of the impact, craters remained on the territory within a radius of 11 meters and a depth of 6 meters.

The power plant is completely out of order. Transformers and panels partially survived.

“A large amount of money will be spent on restoration. The station was built on credit. There used to be a city dump here. We bought it and on our own cleared the territory of debris and dirt. They did not have time to earn anything, everything was destroyed,” Ronchakovsky said.
